WRP is an issued currency on the XRP Ledger. To hold it you need an XRPL account, a small XRP reserve, and a trustline to the canonical issuer. The portal never signs anything for you - these are steps you carry out yourself in the wallet of your choice.

An XRPL AMM (XLS-30) is an on-ledger constant-product pool. Liquidity providers deposit equal-value sides; LP tokens represent their share. Anyone can swap against the pool, paying a small fee that accrues to LPs.
